Participation in the IENE 2024 Conference

Callisto and the LIFE Arcprom project participated in the IENE 2024 International Conference (9-13 September, Prague). IENE promotes knowledge sharing for safe, sustainable and biodiversity-friendly pan-European transport infrastructure.
Callisto was represented by Dr. Maria Psaralexi who presented the intervention made regarding the construction of a new “Xanthi-Echinos-Greek-Bulgarian Border” vertical axis of the Egnatia Highway network. This intervention concerned the need for an impact assessment of this highway on wildlife.
