The LIFE ARCPROM project (LIFE18 NAT / GR / 000768) aims to improve human-bear coexistence in four National Parks of N. Europe, three in Greece and one in Italy. The project started in October 2019 and will last for 5 years. The partners of the project are four National Parks (Prespon, North Pindos, Rhodope Mountains and Majella), two universities (of Thessaly and Western Macedonia), and two environmental organizations (Kallisto and WWF Italy). The project is 75% co-financed by the LIFE program of the EU, the Green Fund and the partners’ own resources, while its total budget is €2,786,497.
