“The paths of the bear” – Tour and events in the area of the Rhodope Mountains National Park on Saturday 10 May 2025
Presentation of the thematic “Bear Trail” created in the area of the Rhodope Mountains National Park in the framework of the European LIFE ARCPROM project will take place on Saturday morning, 10 May 2025. The tour activity is addressed to teachers of all levels, and aims to highlight the educational value of the trail.
It is a trail that has been created after a collaboration between the Rhodope Mountains National Park of OFYPEKA and the Environmental Organization “Callisto”, in the framework of the European project LIFE ARCPROM. A total of four trails have been created in Greece and Italy. They are accessible trails that pass through areas of high natural beauty with the presence of bears and are suitable for all different categories of stakeholders: students, adults, visitors, education workers or any other sector.
After the end of the walk along the “bear trail”, an event will be held to present the educational material created in the framework of the LIFE ARCPROM project, which will be made available to the participating teachers.
On the afternoon of the same day, Saturday 10 May 2025, an open event for the public will be held at 18:00 in the Multipurpose Hall of the Kato Tholos, in Paranesti Drama, during which the actions and results of the European project LIFE ARCPROM, which will be completed in the coming months, will be presented.
